Below are directions to Herne's Haven, as well as pictures of our land and home, which we have consecrated to Lord Herne and Lady Hertha. From the many rituals we have done on this land, we have felt the presence of the Gods grow. It is our aim to have this land be a haven for all the Lord and Lady's creatures.


We strongly recommend you copy or print these directions. GPS, On-Star and Internet mapping services have gotten many a visitor lost, putting them on a one-lane brick road or a dead-end into a swamp. There are bears. Maybe alligators. Don't be suprised if you hear the banjos playing .... just go ahead and print the directions.

 

Herne's Haven is located at 2130 Hills Neck Road, Ernul, 28527-- about 10 miles North of New Bern.

FROM GREENVILLE: Take Highway 43 thru Vanceboro and then another few miles. At stoplight with 17, turn LEFT onto Macedonia Church Road. Take a RIGHT onto Old Brick Road, and follow that for 3 or 4 miles...name changes to Hills Neck Road. We are a small gray house with small holly bushes & a psychic reading sign, on your right. We will be EXACTLY one mile past the intersection with Great Swamp Road on your right.

FROM NEW BERN / MOREHEAD: Take 17 North thru Bridgeton and then to stoplight with Highway 43. Turn RIGHT onto Macedonia Church Road. Take a RIGHT onto Old Brick Road, and follow that for 3 or 4 miles...name changes to Hills Neck Road. We are a small gray house with small holly bushes & a psychic reading sign, on your right.We will be EXACTLY one mile past the intersection with Great Swamp Road on your right.

FROM JACKSONVILLE / WILMINGTON: Take 17 North and then take a LEFT onto Glenburnie Rd at edge of New Bern. Travel 2 miles down Glenburnie Road, and then turn LEFT onto 43/55. There is a new intersection with a stoplight a couple of miles down, and you will need to "jog right" at that intersection with a stoplight in order to stay on 43. (Landmark: brand new Trade/Wilco conveniences store near that stoplight.) Stay on 43, go past Weyerhauser, go thru stoplight with hwy 17, onto Macedonia Church Road. Take a RIGHT onto Old Brick Road, and follow that for 3 or 4 miles...name changes to Hills Neck Road. We are a small gray house with small holly bushes and a psychic reading sign, on your right.

RALEIGH/DURHAM/PARTS WEST: Take 64/264 from Raleigh to Greenville. 264 intersects with Arlington Blvd. Turn RIGHT on Arlington and go for several miles; then LEFT onto Firetower Road, then RIGHT onto Highway 43. Go thru Vanceboro and then another few miles. At stoplight with 17, turn LEFT onto Macedonia Church Road. Take a RIGHT onto Old Brick Road, and follow that for 3 or 4 miles...name changes to Hills Neck Road. We are a small gray house with small holly bushes & a psychic reading sign, on your right. We will be EXACTLY one mile past the intersection with Great Swamp Road on your right. With good traffic, the trip should be about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
