2009

A WitchCraft Retreat

Friday, November 6 ~ Sunday, November 8

Welcome to ShadowHarvest! We are a three-day, two night spiritual retreat for all who honor the Old Ways of Witchcraft. Come taste the Wildness of our Sacred Land in early Winter! Meet new friends, learn new ways of connecting with the Old Gods, and sharpen your skills with the Arts Magickal.

We come together at this time to Teach, to Learn, to Share, to Worship, to Sing, to Laugh, to Dance, to Meditate, to Chant; to Listen to the Hush of the Shadows, and Unleash the Ecstasy of our Magickal Selves.

LOGISTICS

***ALL ADULT ADMISSIONS GET CHANCE TO WIN THIS BEAUITFUL OAK-KING WALL PLAQUE, CRAFTED & DONATED BY CLAYFEATHER***

§ ShadowHarvest is held at Herne's Haven, the two-acre rural covenstead of the Coven of the Ancient Harvest. Primitive camping is available, and encouraged, at the rate of $15 per adult for the entire weekend. Daytrippers are also welcome at the rate of $10 per adult for the entire weekend. Children age 12 and under are free; teens 13 and over are charged adult rates.
§ Camping facilities include a porta-potty, an outdoor spigot, and a large central firepit. Campers may have small cooking fires at their own campsites unless we are under drought conditions. Campers should bring everything they need to be comfortable for weather that may be warm, but has historically been cold.

*** THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE A LARGE COMMUNITY TENT for workshops and socializing in case the weather is too cold. Also the ritual if weather demands it. ***

§ We like people to have fun so alcohol in moderation is allowed. We do not allow any illegal drugs at all; bringing or using such onto our land will result in an immediate call to the Craven County Sheriff's Department.
§ We are animal lovers but we regretfully cannot accommodate any pets or companion animals at all on our land. We will not admit anyone who brings a cat, dog, bird, snake, or any other companion animal with them. NO EXCEPTIONS for anyone.
