FEATURING GUEST SPEAKER

Witch, Cunningman, Author, and Publisher

PETER PADDON

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!

Peter is a Brit of Welsh ancestry who lives in Los Angeles with his wife Linda, where he is Magister of Briar Rose, a small Coven of modern Cunningfolk. Aside from being an author, Peter also created the Craftwise series of spellcasting DVDs, and is the host of the Crooked Path podcast. He is also the founder of Pendraig Publishing, which puts out books and media not only on traditional Witchcraft, but many aspects of the occult mysteries. He can also be found at his site on Amazon.com.

Having many years of experience in various forms of Occult Studies, including Alexandrian Wicca, the Egyptian Mysteries, Rosicrucianism and Enochian magick, Peter finally found what he had been looking for all his life in the two Traditional Covens he became a member of in the US. The first was the Roebuck (1734, Clan of Tubal Cain), under Ann and Dave Finnin, and the second was Wildewood Grove (Welsh Celtic Tradition), under its Mistress, Raven Womack.

Eternal Harvest is extremely privileged to have Peter visiting us for this year's ShadowHarvest, to share his wealth of occult experience and knowledge with North Carolina and the surrounding states.

6:00 PM WORKSHOP – Kids’ drumming with Thalia. Children love to drum, and Thalia is a professional music teacher who can help them sound great! Bring a drum or other percussion instrument for your child to participate.

7:45 WORKSHOP WITH PETER PADDON ~ Reclaiming Sovereignty: Discovering the connection with Sovereignty through the Lore and stories of the Mythic Landscape.

In the British Mystery Traditions, one of the most important keys is that of “Sovereignty.” Our ancestors worked hard to preserve the Mysteries of the Sacred King in story and poetry, but the essence of Sovereignty was always expressed through the Land. In modern times, though, many of us are far from the land of our ancestors, and the breakdown of tribal and family ties has left us disconnected from our own sacredness, our own Sovereignty. This workshop will explore ways of reconnecting to the Sacred King within, through storytelling and magical techniques.

8:45 - ???? BARDIC FIRE CIRCLE and Drumming, featuring Mermaid Morrigan and her infamous (and hilarious) “Ugly Baby” song repertoire – also accepting contributions of bardic songs and poetry from others!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2011

10:30-11:30- KEYNOTE WORKSHOP - Visceral Magick with Peter
Paddon. This workshop explores a set of basic experiences, ideas and techniques that used to be at the heart of every magical Tradition, which are frequently overlooked or ignored in modern times. But they are the very things that breathe life into magical systems, the secret key that makes the magic actually work. Peter Paddon, author and Witch, lays out exercises and practical applications that enable us experience magic as a manifest force in our life. Instead of visualizing energy in your crafting, feel it raise the hairs on your neck.

3:30-4:15  -- WORKSHOP - Wiccan Elders & Ancestors, with Johnnie Hales. In this time of remembrance, let us learn about and honor the interesting, vibrant, brave Witches who birthed our modern Pagan traditions, and find out where we come from. By Johnnie Hales

4:30-5:30- KEYNOTE WORKSHOP - Gods and Ancestors and the 21st Century Crafter, with Peter Paddon
Extended families living together are a thing of the past, and we often find ourselves separated from both our relatives and their stories. When we do have family, the connection with more ancient ancestors is no longer important to them, and it is difficult to make a strong spiritual connection, but it is a vital task if we are to recover the lore and magick for ourselves. This workshop looks how to make that connection through the stories and myths of our culture's Gods and heroes, in order to work powerful ancestral magick.

5:30-6:30-DINNER BREAK/RAFFLE. We are barbecuing a pig for all to share, and also, with the help of Michelle Jenkens of The Sojourner Whole Earth Provisions, preparing a big pot of vegan “Stone Soup” as a vegetarian option and also for all to share. Other contributions to the dinner (bread, side dishes, dessert) are gratefully accepted.

7:45-8:45-MAIN RITUAL, “Descent to Annwyn.” Sojourn to the realms below; honor the Crone and the Lord of the Wild Hunt, greet the Ancestors and invite them to dance with us! Featuring the Skeleton Band
